LEARNING ON THE LOG
Learning on the Log has provided an inclusive therapeutic social skills program designed for both typical developing and special needs children, including Autism, Asperger, ADHD, sensory integration disorder, developmental delay, and various anxiety disorders
CORE DANCE ATLANTA
CORE Dance Atlanta has a mission is to create, perform, and present compelling, original dance that ignites the creative spirit and actively engages in international cultural conversations. It supports innovation, collaboration, artistic risk-taking, and sustainable art-making in dance. Its vision is to serve as a catalyst for the continued evolution of Atlanta and Houston as dynamic centers for dance, with the knowledge that dance as art-making is a vital element of the fabric of human experience.
LIGHT THE NIGHT LEUKEMIA
Light the Night Leukemia raises funds in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The mission of LLS is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. It is the voice for all blood cancer patients and works to insure access to treatments for all blood cancer patients.

CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research and supporting patients and their families.
THE HUNTINGTON’S DISEASE SOCIETY OF AMERICA
The Huntington’s Disease Society of America is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Huntington’s disease. From community services and education to advocacy and research, HDSA is the world’s leader in providing help for today and hope for tomorrow for people with Huntington’s disease and their families. HDSA’s network of chapters, affiliates, HDSA Centers of Excellence, social workers and support groups provides a seamless connection for help, education and outreach to HD families and healthcare professionals across the United States.
THE AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION (AFSP)
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies: funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, & supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide in our mission.
Relay for Life
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.
GALIL UNITED CHILDREN’S SOCCER ACADEMY
Galil United Children’s Soccer Academy, located in Israel, is a school that promotes both Arab & Jewish children and educates them not only in soccer but in strong values including tolerance and coexistence.
Halev Atlanta
Halev Atlanta is a local charity helping others in the community in times of dire need whether it is assistance raising money for medical treatment, help with temporary shelter, providing meals, or assisting those who need a safe haven. The organization’s motto is “the heart of Atlanta”.
Mifrasim
Mifrasim is a non-profit organization founded on a community of volunteers. The purpose of sailing here is to do good with diverse populations, who will acquire individual and team skills through a group voyage aboard sailing ships.
Sandy Springs Education Force
Sandy Springs Education Force designs and implements free supplemental programs to engage, support and encourage our economically disadvantaged public school students to excel academically, finish high school and then continue to a vocation or to college. While SSEF sponsored programs are focused on the economically disadvantaged student, SSEF does not discriminate; any student may participate – however, a small fee is sometimes required.
GDE for the Community sponsors various charities and provides help for those in need including donations for “Autism Speaks” (www.autismspeaks.org) and “Learning on the Log”. (www.learningonthelog.com)
